Biographies
CES - Atlanta
Larry R. Woodall
- Founded Collateral Evaluation Services in April of 2007 and later formed it
into an LLC in March of 2008. He is currently the Managing Director and
Chief Appraiser of the company's Atlanta Office and is responsible for the
overall leadership, growth, profitability and management of the company.
He has 25 plus years of
commercial and residential real estate appraisal experience, of which 20 plus years is
as an institutional Senior Review Appraiser, Regional Manager and Chief
Appraiser. He has approximately 15 years experience in Real Estate
Portfolio Evaluation, Loan Review, Bank Acquisition and Environmental Site
Assessment due diligence, and 3-years experience in Construction Loan
Management.
During the past 20 years, he
has worked with and participated directly with National, Regional and Community
Commercial Banks as a Senior Advisor to Consumer and Commercial Loan Committee
groups, Special Asset Committee groups, Real Estate Investment Trust groups,
CMBS Lending groups, Wealth and Money Management groups, Policy Management
groups, Loan Review groups, Real Estate Portfolio Management Committee groups, and
Bank Acquisition Due Diligence Groups.
Prior to starting CES Mr.
Woodall was previously employed as a Commercial Fee Appraiser by Dominy, Ford & McPherson and Mushinski
and Associates out of Houston, TX, a Senior Review Appraiser at San Jacinto Savings Bank N.A. under the RTC in Bellaire, TX, a Senior Review Appraiser at Bank of Boston out of Boston, MA and
Chemical Bank (Chase) in NY, NY, Chief Appraiser at Riggs Bank in Washington, DC, and Regional Manager at SunTrust
Bank in Washington, DC and Atlanta, GA.
Currently an Associate
Member of the Appraisal Institute, he is working toward his MAI
designation. He is also an active member with RMA for whom he has written
an article entitled "The Validation of Real Estate Appraisals".
Mr. Woodall holds an active
Certified General Appraiser (CGA) license in "good standing" in the
State of Georgia and has a license "pending approval" submitted to the
State of Tennessee.He has
previously been licensed as a Certified General Appraiser in the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts and Virginia, the States of New York and Maryland, and the
District of Columbia (Wash DC).
Awarded a Bachelors of
Science degree from The University of West Alabama in 1979, he was also placed on the
"Dean's List" for academic achievements while attending school on a
Football Scholarship.
CES - Cincinnati
George R. Mann - Joined CES in October of 2008., he became the company's Co-Founder as well as its Managing
Director and Chief Appraiser of our Cincinnati office.
Mr. Mann has more than 23 plus years of commercial and residential real estate appraisal
experience of which 17 plus years were as a bank Senior Review Appraiser,
Regional Manager and Chief Appraiser.
His institutional appraisal
experience was concentrated in the areas of Commercial Lending, Real
Estate Portfolio Analysis, CMBS Lending, OREO Asset Management, and Policy
Management. While working within the corporate environment, he also
was involved in the management of Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I &
II Site Assessment), the Loan Review process and Bank Acquisition Due
Diligence.
Mr. Mann expands CES' services allowing us to offer "expert witness" support for litigation assignments for all of our clients. He is also a member of the Appraisal Institute holding the MAI and SRA
designations and also a member of RICS , holding the MRICS
designation.
Mr. Mann currently holds an active Certified General Estate
Property Appraiser (CGRPA) license
in "good standing" in the State of Kentucky. He was previously licensed
as a Certified General Real Property Appraiser in the Commonwealth of
of Virginia and in the State of Ohio. Those licenses have been
placed in an "inactive status" and were left in "good standing".
Mr. Mann was awarded a BS degree from the University of
Florida in 1985 and he was awarded his MBA from Averett University in Virginia in 1996.
